When an ElicitData, ElicitDataByName, or ElicitFileresponse parcel is fetched, Teradata Database requires additional information to complete the request. To provide that information, an application must perform the following steps:
1 Modify the DBCAREA.
a Set the Function to 15 (ContinueRequest).
b Set the Input CLIv2 Session Id to the Output CLIv2 Request Id returned when the session was established.
c Set the Input CLIv2 Request Id to the Output CLIv2 Request Id returned when the request was initiated.
d Set the Request Pointer field.
e Set the Request Length field.
f Optionally set the following fields:
g Optionally set the Change Options option to 'Y', and set the following:
2 Call DBCHCL to perform the ContinueRequest function.
3 Check the return code from DBCHCL:
