You must install open source GDAL libraries in order to use Teradata Geospatial Utilities.

1 Go to http://www.gisinternals.com/sdk/.

2 In the “GDAL and MapServer latest release versions" table, do one of the following:

  • To download the 32-bit GDAL installer file, click release-1600-gdal-1-11-0-mapserver-6-4-1, and then click gdal-111-1600-core.msi.
  • To download the 64-bit GDAL installer file, click release-1600-x64-gdal-1-11-0-mapserver-6-4-1, and then click gdal-111-1600-x64-core.msi.
  • 3 Double-click the downloaded file to begin the installation.

    4 Follow the installation wizard instructions to finish the installation.

    5 Update the PATH environment variable with the directory location where GDAL is installed, if it is not set automatically as part of the GDAL installation.

    Perform the following step so that Teradata GeoImport/GeoExport Utility can access the dependent gdal111.dll library.

  • Update PATH environment variable with %PROGRAMFILES(x86)%/GDAL (Windows 64-bit) or %PROGRAMFILES%/GDAL (Windows 32-bit).
