You must have administrator privileges for the computer you will install the software on.
The client computer must be able to communicate with a network-attached Teradata Database that is using the TCP/IP protocol with Winsock version 2.0 support.
To find out which version of Teradata Database is compatible with Teradata Tools and Utilities, refer to Teradata® Tools and Utilities Release Definition (B035-2029).
