The request source classification type establishes which username, account name, account string, profile, application, client IP address, or client ID is making the request.
Consider the following when using request source to classify information:
- A source type can only be used once in each rule and can have multiple parameters. In Teradata Database 13.10, multiple parameters are joined by AND.
- When source and target groups exist together in Teradata Database 13.10 or later, they are joined by an AND.
- A match string must be an exact match.
