System Heartbeat is a canary query that cannot be deleted. It is used to check whether the Teradata Database system is responsive.
- From the Systems list, click the name of the system you want to update.
- From the Setup list, click Canary Queries.

Click
in the row of the canary query you want to delete. A confirmation message appears.
- Click OK. The canary query row disappears.
