This function is only available when connected to a Teradata database.
A Period Date literal may look like PERIOD ‘(2012-04-01 - 0212-04-30)’ or PERIOD ‘(2012-04-01 - UNTIL_CHANGED)’. When the Properties button is selected, two standard date picking selectors are provided for the Begin and End bounds of the date period, along with an optional drop-down selector for UNTIL_CHANGED.
