You must start Data Mover VMs before the source and target Teradata systems so that DSMain on the Teradata servers can properly register with the Data Mover ActiveMQ instance. If you do not start Data Mover VMs first, then you must restart DSMain on the Teradata server before using Data Mover with DSA.
  1. To restart DSMain, do the following:
    1. Stop DSMain.
      start dsmain -s
    2. In a cnsterm session on the Teradata server, start DSMain.
      start dsmain
