Teradata® AppCenter allows you to configure corporate LDAP or LDAPS, we strongly recommended you engage the Teradata Center for Enterprise Security team that is part of Teradata Professional Services to provide this configuration service for you for the following reasons:
- Teradata is not obligated to cover LDAP or LDAPS misconfiguration under existing support agreements.
- Remediation of failed LDAP or LDAPS configuration often equals or exceeds the cost of initial directory integration performed by Teradata Professional Services.
- Teradata Center for Enterprise Security has developed a process to de-risk compromise of application functionality by validating and evolving the process in the lab, instead of the field.
- Teradata Center for Enterprise Security has accumulated thousands of hours of successful integration of Teradata systems of all varieties with every major LDAPv3 directory service.
