The Teradata Project wizard guides you through the steps to create and configure a Java Project, and set up the default source directories to create for the project.
The first Teradata Project dialog is Create a Java Project which utilizes the Eclipse New Java Project Wizard interface.
The second Teradata Project dialog is Java Settings. This dialog displays the defaults that have been set in the Teradata Project Preferences. The dialog shows the settings for source folders, output directories, and the build path. The build path includes Teradata Libraries. These libraries allow access to Java stored procedure utilities and query band options.
In the third dialog, Teradata Project Defaults, you can override source folder defaults set in the Teradata Project Preferences . These source folders are used with the Teradata Java Development Wizards. If you decide to not create the source folders when you create the Teradata Project, they will be created by the Teradata Java Development Wizards as they are needed.
