When creating UDMs, the “CREATE METHOD...” statement must indicate that the files containing the definitions of the methods are located on the server; creating UDMs from files located on the client is not supported. If you try to create a UDM from files on the client, a message is returned indicating that UDMs created from files on the client are not supported. This restriction is similar to the restriction for UDFs.
