Server Management Network for System with Maximum 36 Nodes, No BYNET Cabinets

  • This configuration is built on the cabinet and collective topology defined in Collectives.
  • This configuration illustrates topology for two to five cabinets. Configurations using a 24-port BYNET-over-Ethernet switch can scale up to three cabinets while configurations using a 36-port BYNET V5 InfiniBand switch can scale up to five cabinets.
  • Each processing/storage cabinet shown above represents a collective. The collective may include Platform Framework Cabinets (not shown).
  • The path for the primary network runs:
