The various non-standard Period data types and literals may be used to create Period expressions in the Variable Creation analysis. Initially, Period Time With Time Zone and Period Timestamp With Time Zone are not supported as SQL elements in Variable Creation but may be created in a free-form manner using a SQL Text element.
Period data cannot be viewed directly in Teradata Warehouse Miner results displays unless it is first cast to a VARCHAR type.
