6700C, 6700H, and 6700X coexistence systems have Mellanox InfiniBand dual 56 Gb adapters to run at V5. Running at V5 requires that everything be at V5: the cables, the adapters (Mellanox InfiniBand Dual 56 Gb), and the InfiniBand switch (Mellanox InfiniBand IS5030 36-port, Mellanox InfiniBand GD4200 162-port, Mellanox InfiniBand SX6518 324-port ).
When 6700C, 6700H, and 6700X systems coexist with older generation nodes, the system runs based on the slowest component.
