CDH 5.7.x

The following table lists known issues and any available workarounds for this release.

Issue Description
For the CDH 5.7.0 release, attempting to stop or restart the Cloudera Manager Agent via the service command fails on SLES 11. This issue is patched in CDH 5.7.1. Please consult Teradata CSR for assistance.

CDH 5.5.x

The following table lists known issues and any available workarounds for this release.

Issue Description
Upgrade from 5.4.x to 5.5.x fails due to missing OS packages required for 5.5.x. Please consult Teradata CSR for assistance.

Services fail to start on Kerberized cluster where hostname contains upper case letters. Use Cloudera change hostname procedure to modify hostnames to all lower case.

CDH 5.4.x

The following table lists known issues and any available workarounds for this release.

Issue Description
Cloudera Manager Resource Manager Web UI Service Metrics displays empty page  
Cloudera Manager Quick Links Status web links are broken for various "Activity Monitor" pages.  
Services are reported in stale state after rebooting Master 1 Use Cloudera Manager to redeploy the client configuration.
No valid privileges for tdatuser on HiveServer2 after installing Sentry's service.
