The Input Request Id field specifies the request to be acted on by DBCHCL.

The application program copies the value that was placed by the Connect, Run Startup, or Initiate Request function in Output Request Id into Input Request Id.

If the application program uses the same DBCAREA for more than one concurrent request or more than one session, it should save the Output Request Id from each request’s submission. The application program must store the appropriate value of Output Request Id in Input Request Id whenever it intends the next DBCHCL call to affect a different request.
