Explanation:

If additional meaningful detail exists for an I/O error, this message follows a TDP2215 message. One or more of the following three pieces of information will be present: DEVSTAT(status) formats any nonzero device status as one or more of CE (Channel End), DE (Device End), UC (Unit Check), and UEX (Unit Exception). Unexpected values will appear in hexadecimal. SCHSTAT(status) formats any nonzero subchannel status as one or more of IL (Incorrect Length), PGMC (Program Check), PRTC (Protection Check), CDC (Channel-data Check), CCC (Channel-control Check), IFCC (Interface-control Check), and CC (Chaining Check). Unexpected values will appear in hexadecimal. SENSE(data) formats one byte of sense data if a Unit Check occurred and such data is provided, as one or more of the following: CMDREJ (Command Reject), BUSOUT (Bus-out Check), EQPCK (Equipment Check), DATACK (Data CHeck), and OVRRUN (Overrun). Unexpected values or all data (if necessar to ensure all data fits into the message) will appear in hexadecimal.
