The Unity setup script does not start any processes. You must start processes manually.
  1. Type the following command into both Unity servers: /etc/init.d/unity start
  2. [Optional] To see if the Unity processes started, use the status option: /etc/init.d/unity status

This lists Unity processes configured and the status of the process (running or dead). The number of processes displayed depends on how the environment was setup. Usually, there is a single Sequencer process, one or more Endpoint processes, a Watchdog process and one Dispatcher process for each Teradata Database system.
