To be able to download library files from the Red Hat repository, you must have a Red Hat subscription.

When you install Teradata Tools and Utilities, if an error message about one or more missing library files appears, use the yum install command. This command downloads the missing files from the Red Hat repository and installs them. For more information, see Using Yum to Manage Teradata Client Software .
  1. Enter the following command:
    • yum install library-file
    where library-file is one or more of the following library filenames (if you specify more than one file, separate the filenames with a space):
    • libstdc++.so.6
    • libc.so.6
    • libgcc_s.so.6
    The appropriate library files are downloaded from the Red Hat repository and installed.
