CDM replicates changes from client applications that are are non-deterministic. If you need changes that are not intended for replication, such as during regular maintenance on a single Teradata system, you can prevent automatic replication to other systems.
If you log on as a DBC user, any query performed is not replicated. Alternatively, if you set the following queryband for a session, the query is not replicated.
- Log on to unityadmin.
- SET QUERY_BAND='CDCPREPARE=NONE;' FOR SESSION;
