Enhancements introduce new features and track changes that enhance the operation of Teradata Tools and Utilities software. Product installation changes and improvements indicating support for new operating systems are listed in the individual product sections in the Product Information chapter.
The installation process now includes the following:
- Disk space requirements
Disk space requirements are listed in the installation guides. The installers for UNIX, Linux, and OS X also show the disk space needed for installation.
- User-selectable directories for installation
The user can choose the base directory for product installation.
