Teradata MultiLoad supports two forms of graphic constants:
- The graphic literal or string constant, which is allowed in the KANJIEBCDIC character set on mainframe-attached z/OS client systems. This type of constant must have an even number of bytes within the quoted string to represent double-byte characters.
- The hexadecimal representation of graphic data used on both workstation-attached UNIX client systems and mainframe-attached z/OS client systems.
For more information about graphic constants and hexadecimal representations of them, see Teradata Vantage™ - SQL Data Definition Language Detailed Topics , B035-1184 .
