You need administrator privileges to perform this procedure.
  1. From the DVD, double-click the .pkg file.The Welcome screen is displayed.
  2. Click Continue.
  3. Read the license agreement, and then click Continue.A dialog box asks if you want to agree to the terms of the license agreement.
  4. Click Agree.
  5. Select Install for all users of this computer.
  6. Click Continue.A list of products (package names) that you can install is displayed. Teradata Wallet, BTEQ, and ODBC Driver for Teradata are selected by default.
    The version that will be installed appears in the box below when you click on a product.
  7. Select the products you want to install, and then click Continue.
  8. Click Install.
  9. Enter the admin user name and password, and then click Install Software.
  10. When the installation is complete, click Close.
A Teradata Client 15.00 folder is created in the Applications folder. It contains the following applications:
  • BTEQ
  • TDWallet
  • Uninstaller
  • ListProducts
If you double-click BTEQ or TDWallet, a terminal window appears.
