The availability of this feature is currently limited. Contact Teradata for more information.

Most system management for Vantage on AWS, Vantage on Azure, and Vantage on Google Cloud takes place in the classic Console and the new Vantage Console. The beta version of the new Vantage Console is now live (with limited availability and functionality). For more information, please contact Teradata.

If you have access to the new Vantage Console beta, you can switch between the classic Console (https://console.vantage.teradata.com) and the new Vantage Console (https://cloud.vantage.teradata.com) from the left navigation pane. The classic Console, in its entirety, will be available until feature parity is reached and the classic Console is deprecated.

You can do this and more:

  • Request that system event notifications and consumption alerts be sent to your customer account
  • View site details including CPU and disk utilization, terabytes consumed, and, for Vantage on AWS, Native Object Store (NOS) policies
  • Adjust the system by scaling up, scaling down, scaling out, and scaling in
  • Expand storage
  • Manage data protection
  • Configure federated authentication to enable single sign-on
The availability of this feature is currently limited. Contact Teradata for more information.
  • For Vantage on AWS, create an additional Amazon S3 bucket policy to access your Amazon S3 bucket if stricter security is required (typically done by your Cloud Administrator).
