Open Teradata QS in View-Only Mode
View-only mode allows users other than an administrator to log on to Teradata QS and view settings. The following procedure explains how to open Teradata QS in view-only mode. For more information about the functionality of Teradata QS in view-only mode, see “View-Only Mode” on page 51
To Open Teradata QS in View-Only Mode
1 From the desktop, click Start>Programs>Teradata Query Scheduler Admin 15.00>Administrator.
The Teradata Query Scheduler Admin Logon dialog box appears.
2 Enter the database name and the associated user name and password. For more information on the remaining options, see Table 9 on page 36.
When logged onto Teradata QS as a non-administrator (user name other than tdwm), Teradata QS opens in view-only mode. For more information on the functionality in view-only mode, see “View-Only Mode” on page 51.
