New Installation
To run Teradata QS on a new installation of the Teradata Database (that is, one on which an earlier version of Teradata QS or Teradata DQM has not been installed), run the tqssetup.bteq script. The script creates scheduling tables in the TDWM database that Teradata QS uses to store scheduling information.
To run the tqssetup.bteq script
1 Locate the tqssetup.bteq file.
Note: The default location is C:\Program Files\Teradata\Teradata Query Scheduler Admin 15.00.
2 Open the tqssetup.bteq file in a text editor.
3 In the .logon statement, replace dbsName with the name of the Teradata Database whose tables you are upgrading to 15.00.
4 Save the file and exit the text editor.
5 Execute the script using BTEQ. See Basic Teradata Query Reference (B035‑2414) for instructions.
