You can configure Server Management to receive alerts related to node failures, issues with Teradata software, and many other alert types. For example, you can create and enable an alert named TD Database Restart with a SM_LOG alert action set so that you will be notified when the database restarts after a node failure.
Action sets configured in the Alert Setup portlet are displayed in the Alert Actions list in the Server Management portlet.
