Service accounts store system credentials required for job execution so that users do not have to provide the credentials each time they run the app. Service accounts are associated with apps that run once or on a schedule. Root users create service accounts and assign administrators to them. Administrators can assign service accounts to apps that run once or on schedule, with only one service account per app.
