Tests if an ST_Geometry value has no anomalous geometric points, such as self intersection tangency.
Valid Data Types
Any ST_Geometry type.
Result Type
Returns an INTEGER value:
- 1, if the geometry is simple, with no anomalous points
- 0, if the geometry is not simple
