If a write request succeeds on a standby system in a managed routing session, but the system returns a different number of affected rows, Business Continuity Manager makes tables involved in the request unrecoverable on the standby system. Business Continuity Manager assumes the response from the active system is correct and relays that request to the client. After the client receives that response, the standby system must agree with it.

After a table becomes unrecoverable, re-synchronize and validate the table to return to the active state. Several Business Continuity Manager features can be used to do this.
