You can install the Teradata Query Service package using these instructions or PUT.
You must be root to install this software.
- In the directory where the rpm is located, type the following command:rpm -ivh query-service-*.rpmThe rpm installs the package into the default directory /opt/teradata/rest, which cannot be changed. The service starts after installation and after restarts. The service runs as the Linux user, query-service.
