In the Vantage Console, there are two options to backup and restore data:
To manage backups, you must be assigned to the Site Super Admin or Site Admin role. Submit a change request to perform the following backup tasks:
- Enable daily, weekly, or monthly backups
- Create a new backup job
- Enable auto-restart to rerun failed backups
- Receive weekly backup reports by email
- Restore from a backupSnapshot restores require a system outage.
By default, Teradata backs up your site daily and retains the two most-recent successful, full backups in the same cloud region.
