Teradata might occasionally upgrade the ICOP hardware. To reduce cost and migration disruptions, Teradata works with customers to schedule hardware upgrades and communicate if the required system unavailability exceeds their scheduled maintenance window.
If Teradata initiates a change, customers' existing licensing terms remain in effect through the end of their current contract period.
