Explanation:
The request to establish the Teradata Database partition for a new Teradata session failed because the length of the partition name was zero (or negative).
Notes:
The error is detected by TDP. For CLIv2 applications, the DBCAREA Connect-type option specifies 'R'. This error should not occur for a CLIv2 application since CLIv2 ensures the partition name is specified.
Remedy:
Collect diagnostic information (including the memory dump and TDPSNAP output, if any) and contact Customer Support personnel.
