Third-party profiles are the configurations that specify the URL and authentication parameters required for Vantage CX to fetch data from third-party sources. The data is fetched using REST API and is loaded at the beginning of interaction with the customer.
Typically, Vantage CX receives all information such as customer ID, age, gender, and so on as part of the request from the channel. For some configurations, you may want Vantage CX to retrieve additional information from a third-party application. Vantage CX populates attributes with the third-party values and uses this additional information to determine which offers to present to the customer.
