Several of the Teradata attribute functions are extensions to the ANSI SQL:2011 standard.

To maintain ANSI compatibility, use the ANSI equivalent functions instead of Teradata attribute functions, when available. In new applications, change the Teradata function to the ANSI function (see the following table).
