This function returns an error in the following cases:

  • The stream was not opened with the TBLOP_NOOPTIONS option.
  • The direction is not output.
  • The stream number or index is out of bounds.
  • The length is invalid for the attribute type.

This function links an attribute value to location valueptr. If the value referenced by valueptr changes between the call to FNC_TblOpBindAttributeByNdx and the call to FNC_TblOpWrite, the value written in the database is the value referenced by valueptrat the time of the FNC_TblOpWrite call.
