Verify the taraserver process is active in its designated BAR server, then:
- Press Enter.
- At the prompt, enter the machine name where the taraserver process is running. The default is localhost, which can be selected by pressing Enter.

Enter the client name for this BAR server.
The default is uname -n, which can be selected by pressing Enter.
The client name must be a valid name in the hosts file of this BAR server and the BAR server where the taraserver process is running, or a valid name in DNS.

Enter y or n to the following prompt:
TARA needs 'baruser' user to have write permission to dsm.sys. Do you want to change permissions on dsm.sys? (y/n) /opt/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin64/dsm.sys
If you enter y, the permissions are changed on the dsm.sys file to allow the Teradata Extension write access. If you enter n, permissions are not changed and any attempts to run a job result in a Tivoli Storage Manager dsmSetUp error.
