For a 6800C 1+1 clique with two disk arrays, the following guidelines apply:
- One TPA node plus one hot standby node to two disk arrays (1:2 ratio)
- 36, 42, or 46 AMPs per node
- 144, 168, or 184 drives per node (no mixed drive types or sizes in each disk array)
- 72, 84, or 92 drives per array in 2 arrays
For a Variable Override configuration of a 6800C 1+1 clique with two disk arrays, the following guidelines apply:
- This Variable Override configuration requires approval from Teradata
- One TPA node plus one hot standby node to two disk arrays (1:2 ratio)
- Up to 46 AMPs per node
- Up to 184 drives per node (no mixed drive types or sizes in each disk array)
- Drives per node must be a multiple of 4 or 6
- Up to 92 drives per array in 2 arrays
For a Variable Override configuration of a 6800C 1+1 clique with four disk arrays, the following guidelines apply:
- This Variable Override configuration requires approval from Teradata
- One TPA node plus one hot standby node to four disk arrays (1:4 ratio)
- Up to 60 AMPs per node
- Up to 368 drives per node (no mixed drive types or sizes in each disk array)
