Teradata Query Service is middleware that provides a REST API for connecting to Vantage. Query Service allows you to open database sessions, submit SQL queries, access responses and metadata through an Open API REST interface.
Application programmers can use Query Service to develop APIs for connecting to data from a web page or application. System administrators can use Query Service to troubleshoot and perform administrative tasks to support the application programmer.
