The tdgsstestcfg tool allows the user to test the changes made to the user configuration file (TdgssUserConfigFile.xml) before making those changes active with run_tdgssconfig.
This tool launches a test environment in a new shell that contains the updates made to the configuration file. From the new shell, run the appropriate test tools as needed, such as:
- tdgssauth
- tdspasswd
- tdspolicy
- gethost
- dumpcfg
After running the tests, exit the shell by typing exit.
Then run run_tdgssconfig.
