An SFTP connection allows you to send data to and receive data from an external system (an outbound or inbound integration, respectively) using SFTP file transfer. The user credentials for accessing the SFTP location must have write access (to use the connection with an outbound data integration) or read access (to use the connection with an inbound data integration).
