Once you identify the requirements for moving data within the Teradata Database environment,
you must select the components that the script will use to execute the job. There
are two types of components you need to consider:
A producer operator that reads data from a Teradata Database and places it in the
data stream.
and
A consumer operator that takes data from the data stream and writes it to the same,
or another, Teradata Database.
or,
A standalone operator that acts as both producer and consumer.
Note: All applicable operators have already been discussed in preceding chapters. See the
following references for operator information.
