In the Server Management portlet, you can define Teradata ServiceConnect settings to allow the system to communicate with Teradata Customer Services. The Server Management portlet is in Viewpoint.
This configuration includes a basic level of connectivity for remote services using Teradata ServiceConnect. After remote connectivity is established, Teradata Customer Services can remotely assist with any additional configuration options including:
- Configuration of other remote access models
- Installation and configuration of a policy server
- Integration with a customer RADIUS server
If you do not have connectivity for remote services using Teradata ServiceConnect, this option is not available and does not display for the site.
