If your site is connected using Teradata ServiceConnect, the comments are also added to your service incident.

In the Summary Alert Viewer do one of the following to add comments to a summary alert:
- Right-click the summary alert, and select Add Comment.
- In the summary alert, click then select Add Comment.
- Double-click the summary alert, click then select Add Comment.
- Select a summary alert, then select .
- In the Author box, type your identifier.
- [Optional] Select the Include work time check box, and enter the amount of time you worked on the incident.
- In the Comment box, enter your remarks.
- [Optional] Select the Allow customer to view comment in incident check box. After the comment is submitted, it can be viewed in the service incident at the customer site, if it is connected using Teradata ServiceConnect.
- Click Submit.
- Click Ok.
- [Optional] In the Summary Alert Viewer, click to the right of the alert name, to view or delete the comment you added.
