Output modification (OUTMOD) adapter operators are user-written routines that process extracted data prior to delivering the data to its final destination.

An OUTMOD routine cannot be directly invoked by the Teradata PT Export operator. Rather, OUTMOD routines are invoked by the Teradata PT FastExport OUTMOD adapter operator, which acts as a consumer operator to read data from the Export operator. The following figure shows a sample flow.

Job Flow Using an OUTMOD Adapter Operator

For more information, see “FastExport OUTMOD Adapter Operator” in the Teradata Parallel Transporter Reference (B035-2436).
