To use Azure Private Link, you must configure your source account to allow outbound traffic.

    VantageCloud Lake Console

  1. After selecting the Environment card, go to the Settings tab.
  2. Select Private link as the Connection type.
  3. Enter your allowlisted accounts, separated by commas, and select Save.
    After provisioning is complete, the Endpoint address displays along with the region.
  4. Make note of the region.
  5. Use to copy the Endpoint address.
    You will paste the Endpoint address into the Azure Portal as the Resource ID or alias.
  6. Azure Portal

  7. Go to the Azure Portal to create a private endpoint. See Quickstart: Create a private endpoint by using the Azure portal.
  8. If necessary, create a new Virtual Network where you want to create the Private Endpoint.
  9. In the Basics tab, fill in the Project details.
    Subscription  
    Resource group  
  10. Fill in the Instance details:
    Name VantageCloudLake-Endpoint
    Network Interface Name VantageCloudLake-Endpoint-nic
    Region Region shown in VantageCloud Lake
  11. In the Resource tab:
    1. Select Connect to an Azure resource by resource ID or alias.
    2. Paste the Endpoint address you copied from VantageCloud Lake into the Resource ID or alias.
  12. Enter a request message.
  13. In the Virtual Network tab, select the Virtual network and Subnet.
  14. Review and create your endpoint.
