WRITE_NOS does not overwrite data objects in external object storage. A WRITE_NOS operation that encounters an object with the exact path and name to be written stops and generates an error.
The WRITE_NOS operation stops, returns an error, and does not create a manifest file, even if the MANIFESTFILE option was used. The write operation may have written data objects to the external object storage location, which you must remove before trying to repeat the same WRITE_NOS operation. For information on how to find the data objects you must remove from external object storage before repeating the same WRITE_NOS operation, see WRITE_NOS.
