These enhancements were added.

"Built-for" SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI, ISO 27001, and HIPPA Compliance

VantageCloud Lake is now engineered and built to meet all applicable controls and requirements of the following compliance regimes: SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI, ISO 27001, and HIPPA. All policies, procedures, and documentation are in place and the audit for certification is currently underway.
“Built for” systems can be deployed in production environments with the understanding that audited compliance is underway and expected to be available later this year.

Support for Partial Backups

You can now create backups with selected database and tables. See Creating a Backup Plan.

Protect Restore Points

Information about protecting a restore point for a backup plan is added. See Protecting a Restore Point.

Stop a Running Backup Plan

You can stop a backup job from running if it is taking longer than usual or a scheduled backup is planned soon. See Stopping a Running Backup Plan.

Organizational Admin Update

The process for adding organizational admins now ensures that the user doing the process is an organizational admin and a support portal admin. This ensures that the organizational admins are added successfully.

US-ASCII Character Set

US-ASCII replaced Teradata ASCII (TD-ASCII) as the default character set, while retaining the current ASCII user interface.

US-ASCII defines 128 characters and is more popular and easier to understand than Teradata ASCII. See US-ASCII Character Set.

SQL Data Definition Language Reference Reorganized

The SQL References, SQL Data Definition Language Syntax and Examples and SQL Data Definition Language Detailed Topics, were merged to make the content easier to navigate and find. See SQL Data Definition Language.

New Naming Convention for Native Disk Storage

Native Disk Storage (NDS) was renamed to Block Storage for easier understanding of the storage type.
