Item Description Azure: AMPs per instance Important: Consult with Teradata before modifying this option so improper configuration doesn't impact your primary cluster.Select the number of AMPs per instance for the instance size you selected.
AWS: Storage type - General purpose SSD (gp3)
Only available if the primary cluster instance count is less than 10
- Provisioned IOPS SSD (io2 Block Express)
Automatic if instance count is greater than 10. Required for multi-node cliques.
AWS: Storage encryption (CMEK) Configure encryption for customer data. See Creating a Customer Managed Encryption Key for AWS. Selecting a storage encryption type works only when provisioning an environment. Once provisioned, the storage encryption type cannot be changed. - Managed by Teradata: Default. Maintains support for your platform-managed encryption key.
- Customer managed: Create and manage the encryption key within you AWS KMS.
Key ARN: For example, arn:aws:kms:us-west-2:IAMNOTHEKEYIAMNIAMNOTHEKEYIAMNOTTHEKEYIA
