Connection pooling is a technique for sharing server resources among requesting client applications. Connection pooling enables multiple clients to share a cached set of connection objects that provides access to Vantage. Connection pooling improves performance by eliminating the overhead associated with establishing a new connection to Vantage for each request submitted by a client application.

Trusted sessions do not change session parameter handling in connection pooling by default. You cannot reset a connection to Vantage, so do not change any of the following session parameters during a trusted session, because the next user of the connection inherits the changes.
